30 week pictures

Carson got groomed! Before grandma cut his hairs, she fluffed him out. I was laughing so hard... he looks like a show dog! Well now he looks much better & is such a cutie. I also took both doggies to the vet to get their shots and check ups. Ringo had never been, but he did so good! Carson weighs 10 pounds and I am so ashamed! When we moved here he weighed 7.5 :( Part of it is being neutered, but I know I shouldn't give him my food when I'm eating... he's just so cute though! So I've decided he's going on a diet. No more table scraps from momma because I want him to live a long long long time! Ringo weighs 54 & is just perfect as well. Feels good to get their shots taken care of.

30 weeks & feeling huge! I literally can't lay down on the couch or else I can't get up. My legs get tight and my back hurts soo bad. Its crazy because I know people get WAY bigger, so I don't know how they do it. However, if you think about it 30 pounds is a lot of extra weight for this little body. My biggest mistake was not being active enough during my pregnancy. Guess I'll keep that in mind for the next one ;)

Valentines Day

Valentines day was 29 weeks! We decided to spend the day together and went to the mall. Pretty bad idea because my kidney stone was causing me to have a constant & painful urge to pee. Walking around the mall like that.. was awful! But we wanted some See's candy, so thats what we did. We decided to go for a late dessert at melting pot since Austin had never been. The chocolate was pretty yummy! After dinner I was not feeling good & was starting to think something else was wrong since this urgent painful thing had been going on for about a week & I had been drinking water like crazy, so we went into L&D AGAIN! Thinking it was a UTI and we'd be there for an hour tops... NOPE they admitted me. The urine came back with no UTI so I had to stay until morning to do an ultrasound of my kidneys and bladder to see what was going on. I felt SOO bad for Austin, but at 2 am he went home and got us both comfy clothes & what we needed, took care of our poor puppies, & came back to spend the night with me. I told him he didn't have to come back, but of course he did. Did I mention he's the best hubby ever? At 5am I was hurting pretty bad so they gave me IV pain meds, BAD IDEA. Me & Cohen were both freaking out. I did not want to give those medicines to my baby & felt so bad. It felt like he was running a marathon in my belly, but the nurse said he was fine. I was freaking out in my head & Austin was trying to sleep and I guess I was saying some pretty crazy things. OH & the IV the nurse gave me was in my hand and was the most painful thing EVER. I almost cried & passed out. UGH. But they did give me fluids which helped SOO much because since then (about a week and a half ago) I have been pain free! Yayyy! We were at the hospital about 12 hours. We never want to go back until this little babe is ready to come!

28 Weeks!

Today I am 28 weeks & soo excited about it! I'm finally in my 3rd trimester so it's all downhill from here. Just 12 more weeks until I meet my little bundle of joy. Yesterday I did my glucose test, it was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. The drink wasn't bad & the blood draw didn't even hurt this time thank goodness. I'm so glad to have that done with. Now my doctor is testing me for preeclampsia (just to be safe) because there have been times my blood pressure has been a little bit high. They did blood work for that & I'm having to collect my pee for 24 hours to check from protein. Crossing my fingers it all comes back normal, but I'm not too worried. Here are my 28 week stats...

26 Weeks & A tough time!

26 weeks & I am huge! At least I sure do feel like it. At first I was staying pretty little, but I have popped. I am starting to be hungry all the time and just gain away! Along with my belly I have some pretty cute love handles too... not my favorite, but what can you do. Luckily I don't have any stretch marks so I am crossing my fingers I make it through this pregnancy without any.

The emotional train has hit me in the face! I feel like I'm soo sensitive about anything and everything. I had a little sewing machine accident involving my finger and I just broke down and bawled. Also the weirdest thing happened. We were at Kohls getting Austin some jeans and I picked up the wrong style & lets just say they were skinny jeans. When he tried them on I was laughing so hard I was crying that I actually started to cry? Uh what the heck?! Who knows, but I blame it on the fact that I couldn't breathe. Oh well!

I have yet to pass this kidney stone (or stones) I have days where I'm fine, but other days I am in so much pain and have to take a pain pill which has so many side affects towards my body that I really hate taking them. My body has just been all sorts of messed up- it's been really sucky. If I sleep on my back (by accident) I wake up in SOO much pain due to kidney stones & baby pressure. I am starting to just get miserable & sometimes I just want to cry. However, there are also days (most days) I want to cry because I'm so happy! I LOVE my baby boy so much and the reality that he will be here soon in my arms makes me so emotional in a great way. Although I have been super uncomfortable lately, I am so happy & so lucky.

We have also been working on Cohens nursery! I have been SEWING (yes I taught myself to sew) his bumper pads. They will be done soon and then I will make his blankie. I'm so proud of myself for teaching myself how to sew & the bumper hasn't been easy, but is turning out so cute. Austin painted his room green- it is really bright, but so cute! It's perfect for his Dr. Seuss theme. We also found a dresser at a consignment furniture store & Austin painted it & I found the cutest knobs on ETSY that are "OH the places you'll go" It turned out perfect. I will post pictures of his room once it's more complete, which will be soon! I am finding some cute ideas on pinterest & I really want him to have a book or reading wall so that is my next project. We put blue curtains up to match the dresser & they are perfect. I just need to find a changing table & a rocker & then some Dr. Seuss details to complete the room & fill up the walls.

Oh we also had to go to L&D again. I woke up at 1am in TERRIBLE pain & tried to sleep/get the pain to go away until 6am when I finally took a shower which made it so much worse. I felt so bad because I woke Austin up a lot in the night because I was hurting so bad. When I got out of the shower he got up & got ready to take me to the hospital! I could barely walk at that point and was worried the pain was causing Cohen stress. They kept us there for about 5 hours & monitered Cohen the whole time- he was just perfect of course. They did an ultrasound of my kidneys and confirmed I had multiple in my kidneys and my left kidney was enflamed with a few stones on the move. So aweful, but I'm just glad Cohen is such a trooper. Hopefully we won't be back at L&D until the end of April! :)
